BIOIMAGING is part of BIOSTEC, the 17th International Joint Conference on Biomedical Engineering Systems and Technologies. Bioimaging encompasses the acquisition, processing, and visualization of structural or functional images of living objects or systems, including the extraction of image-related information. Various imaging modalities, such as X-ray, CT, MRI, PET, are used in bioimaging. It plays a significant role in medical imaging and microscope/fluorescence image processing, enabling the creation of images at different levels. Both traditional image processing methods and modern machine learning techniques, particularly deep learning, are essential in bioimaging, along with data analysis and statistical tools.
