Module: Bookmarks ()

This module allows you to save the status of a project as a bookmark, in an ordered list. When you save a bookmark, you are saving:

• all the ports of the display modules (including colormaps, connected data, slices positions, etc)
• the status of the display modules (visibility, etc...)
• the position of the camera in all present viewers
• the transformation of the data modules.

After a bookmark is saved, it can be updated to reflect a new status of the project. When you save a bookmark, you can either add it to the end of the list or insert it in the middle (or at the top). Later, you will be able to move bookmarks inside this list. Bookmarks have names that can be changed. Once a project status is saved as a bookmark, it can easily be retrieved by selecting the bookmark in a list. You can then jump to the previous or to the next bookmark by the push of a button.

New bookmark

This port creates a new bookmark recording the current project status. The name of the bookmark is specified in the text box. The Append button adds the bookmark at the end of the list, while the Insert button adds it right before the bookmark specified in the Choose port below.

Choose

This port navigates within the list of bookmarks. The drop-down list allows a direct access to a bookmark, while the Previous and Next buttons move in the list. Once a bookmark is selected, the connections in the project and the camera are reset to the status they were in at bookmark registration. The bookmark selected in this port is also the one the Edit and Actions port will act on.

Edit

This port allows a modification of the bookmark selected in the Choose port. The Update button modifies the connections and the camera position recorded in the bookmark by replacing it with the current connections and camera position. The Rename button changes the name of the bookmark by replacing it with the one specified in the text box on the left of the button.

Actions

This port modifies the list of the bookmarks by acting on the bookmark present in the Choose port. \Move Up and Move Down buttons move the bookmark in the list, while Delete removes it.
