Module: Selective Border Kill ()
This is an experimental module from the Xtra Library: https://xtras.amira-avizo.com.This module is similar as Border Kill module, but adds options to filter or keep objects touching or not specific borders of the image.
Data [required]
A label field (HxUniformLabelField3) is required.
Options
- keep inside particles: Inside particles could be kept or remove. If unchecked, only the particles touching the borders that are also unchecked in \texitSelected Borders will be kept.
- keep labeling: Input labeling order could be kept or relabeled.
Selected Borders
Particles touching the selected borders of the bounding box will be removed. Contrary to Border Kill, particles touching the unchecked borders will be preserved.Interpretation
This port specifies whether the input will be interpreted as a 3D volume or a stack of 2D images for processing.
- "3D": the module configuration is set to 3D. The image will be processed as a whole in 3D.
- "XY planes": the module configuration is set to 2D. The image will be processed slice per slice.
Neighborhood
In 3D configuration, this port refers to the type of connectivity considered for processing adjacent voxels:
- 6: voxels with a common face are considered connected
- 18: voxels with at least one common edge are considered connected
- 26: voxels with at least one common vertex are considered connected
