Module: Extract Oriented Labels ()

Description:

This is an experimental module from the Xtra Library: https://xtras.amira-avizo.com.

This module extracts each single label from the input label image and resample each of it along its own main orientations (or eigenvectors).
It is also possible to precise on which axis of the coordinate system the main orientation (or first eigenvector) must be aligned with after the resampling is done.

Connections:

Input Label Image [required]
The input label image from which the label(s) is(are) extracted from. Support type is: label (Uniform Label Field) image.

Ports:

Main orientation/axis

This port specifies on which axis of the coordinate system the main orientation (or first eigenvector) of the extracted label must be aligned with after the resampling is done.

Auto crop

This port specifies whether an automatic crop step must be performed after the resampling is done.
This guarantees that the bounding box of the extracted label is optimum (smallest possible) after the resampling is done.
