Module: Volume Projection ()

Description:

This is an experimental module from the Xtra Library: https://xtras.amira-avizo.com.

This Xtra create a 2D image which is the projection of the volume along one of the main axis. Projection can be min, max, sum... The resulting 2D data is aligned at the min or max coordinate of the boundingbox of the input data along the axis direction. Press apply to run and the output will be the projected 2D image, which can be visualized using an OrthoSlice module for instance.

You may also want to have a look at "Image Ortho Projections" module which does provide different projection capabilities along Z axis.

Direction

The axis along which voxels of the volume are projected.

Projection plane

2D projected image will be located at the minimum or maximum coordinate of the bounding box of the input data.
