Module: Surface Material Grid View ()

Description:

This is an experimental module from the Xtra Library: https://xtras.amira-avizo.com.

This script allows you to arrange all materials of a surface in a grid view, displayed in [xy] plane. The spacing, the origin and the number of columns in x direction can be specified.
The single material surfaces are aligned according to their principal axes, such that the first primary axis is parallel to x and the second primary axis is parallel to y.
If a Label Analysis has been computed for the materials, the materials can be sorted using the Label Analysis available measures as criteria.
Note: there is only one Surface Material Grid View at a time displayed in the viewer. If a second instance of the Xtra is created, the first instance is automatically removed from the viewer.

Connections:

Data [required]
The input surface. Can be generated from a label image, using the Generate Surface module.

Label Analysis [optional]
Result of module Label Analysis, which computes a group of measures on each material of the label image used to create the input surface. If a Label Analysis is connected, the surface materials can be sorted using one of the measures as criteria. Otherwise the materials are sorted by material id.

Ports:

Sort By

This port is only shown if a Label Analysis is connected. Sorts the surface materials by the chosen measure.

X Origin

Defines the x origin for the grid view.

Y Origin

Defines the y origin for the grid view.

Z Origin

Defines the z origin for the grid view.

Auto Spacing

If enabled, the spacing in x and y directions for the individual surface materials is computed based on the individual input data. If disabled, the x and y spacing values can be set manually.

XSpacing

Defines the x spacing for the individual surface materials. Only available if Auto Spacing is disabled.

YSpacing

Defines the y spacing for the individual surface materials. Only available if Auto Spacing is disabled.

Columns

Defines the number of columns (in x direction) used for the grid view of the individual surface materials.

Drawstyle

Defines the drawing style for the individual surface materials.

Transparency

This port is only shown if Transparent is selected for the option Drawstyle. Defines the transparency for the individual surface materials.

Normals

Defines the used normal vectors for the surface view.
