Apoptotic cells visible in mouse thymus tissue

Mouse thymus tissue was isolated and formalin fixed/paraffin embedded (FFPE). The tissue was sectioned and treated with the Click-iT TUNEL Colorimetric kit, methyl green, and eosin. Apoptotic cells (brown, TUNEL-positive), normal nuclei (green, TUNEL-negative), and red blood cells or collagen (pink) are visible. Image captured using the 20X objective on the EVOS™ FL Auto Cell Imaging System.
