High purification capacity

Thermo Scientific™ Pierce™ Ni-NTA Magnetic Agarose Beads provide high-capacity, high-yield purification of His-tagged recombinant proteins. Cell lysates containing 6x His-tagged proteins (BirA, Red Firefly luciferase, and GFP) were incubated with one of the following: Pierce Ni-NTA Magnetic Agarose Beads, GE Healthcare™ His Mag Sepharose™ Ni, Sigma-Aldrich™ HIS-Select™ Nickel Magnetic Agarose Beads, Qiagen™ Ni-NTA Magnetic Agarose Beads, or Millipore™ Ni-NTA His•Bind™ Resin. Proteins were purified according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Lane 1: PageRuler™ Plus Prestained Protein Ladder, 10 to 250 kDa (Cat. No. 26619); lane 2: cell lysate; lanes 3–12: purified 6x His-tagged protein.
