Claudio Piccino started his career in the cement industry as an engineer for alternative fuels projects in 1992. The experience and knowledge gained during this period provided him with an in-depth foundation of the process of cement manufacturing along with a concise understanding of quality and cost requirements. Since 2003 Claudio has worked with Thermo Fisher Scientific in various capacities ranging from Field Engineering to Sales Engineer and currently works on the Marketing side of the business as an Applications Engineer. Claudio’s passion is to help cement manufacturers enhance plant efficiency and optimize their process through the use of automation and advanced technology. His unique skill set has allowed him to help industry professionals realize cost saving, waste reduction and plant efficiency through the use on online analysis and process automation.
