Governmental regulations around food safety have become more rigorous in recent years with, for example, the introduction of the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act in the USA. However, some retailers demand an even more stringent food safety regime in order to be approved as one of their suppliers. For food manufacturers and processors, adherence to these enhanced codes of practice can remove barriers to entry to large national and international retailers. This helps ensure protection of selling prices and margins for goods produced.
In this 30-minute webcast, you'll discover the current regulatory framework and how product inspection technologies can help compliance, driving increased levels of food safety, consumer protection and operational efficiency.
