Topics

The following will be presented at each location by a Thermo Fisher Scientific expert. In addition, select cities will feature a guest speaker who will discuss their latest work.

Systems-level Omics Integration of Proteomics and Metabolomics using Orbitrap-based Mass Spectrometry

Biological systems rely on very complex environments to function properly and studying their mechanisms in isolation is not enough to understand the complete picture. Learn about the overall impact in life science and translational research with the integration of multi-Omics using Thermo Scientific Orbitrap mass spectrometry.

Wide and Deep: New Reagents and Workflows for Multiplexed Quantification of the Phospho Proteome and Plasma Proteome

Be the first to hear about new workflow solutions for multiplexed quantification for plasma and phosphoproteomic enrichment strategies, as well as new standards for quality control and method development.

Go Beyond with your Quan: Innovations in Hardware and Workflows for Label-free Protein Quantitation

Accurate and precise peptide/protein quantitation requires implementation of highly robust analytical platforms, along with standardized workflows. Come learn about several new developments in instrumentation, reagents, and data analysis to support label-free quantitative proteomics.

Increasing the Plasma Profiling Capabilities for Precision Medicine

Plasma proteome profiling has re-emerged as an important workflow targeted for biomarker panel determination, but presents many challenges for exhaustive qualitative analysis. This presentation introduces alternative experimental methods to address the primary challenges in comprehensive profiling through chromatography and high resolution mass spectrometry.

Expanding the Biomolecular Structural Analysis Capabilities using Orbitrap Technology

We can learn a lot about how proteins function and interact by studying their structure. Various mass spec methods have been developed for specific structural and functional studies. While no single MS method is suitable for all analyses, each can be applied for certain experiments. Learn about the latest advancements in Thermo Scientific Orbitrap MS technology and software that are making this workflow accessible to researchers.
