Discrete industrial Analyzers (DIA) provide rapid and automated photometric (Colorimetric and enzymatic) and electrochemical (pH and conductivity) analysis giving fast, reproducible results.  With discrete cell technology, multiple analytes can be run simultaneously reducing operation and run time.

This webinar will cover how Discrete Industrial Analyzers work and the Thermo Scientific Gallery™, Gallery™ Plus and Gallery™ Plus Beermaster systems, with automation enabling up to 350 tests per hour.  Our DIA Specialist will also discuss how these systems are an efficient alternative to traditional flow analyzers and how the unique low volume cuvette design produces cost savings in reagents and waste. Finally we show how this technology can be applied in a food and beverage testing laboratory for tests such as sugars, total protein, amino acids, iron, copper and total polyphenol. Plus specific wine solutions including total sulfite, glycerol and tartaric acid and beer and malt applications such as bitterness and sulphur dioxide.

Key learning objectives:

  • Learn about discrete industrial analyzers, how they operate and their capabilities
  • Cost, reagent, waste and time savings compared to other flow analyzers
  • Automation and rapid detection of key tests for food and beverage labs including those specific to wine, beer and malt production

Who should attend?

  • Technicians and users of flow or photometric analyzers
  • Laboratory managers and supervisors
  • Laboratory technicians and operators
