In most countries, the drinking water, wastewater treatment and the discharge of the treated effluent is highly regulated with strict guidelines that protect the environment and public health.

The Environmental and Industrial markets have relied on a variety of traditional wet chemistry methods for many years to perform analyses of drinking water, sea water, waste water, and other environmental samples. Traditional wet chemical methods are tedious, time consuming, and consume large volumes of samples and reagents.

Dr. Hari Narayanan, an expert in Wet Chemical analysis will provide an overview of automated wet chemical analysis methods for drinking and waste water, and will explain with several application examples how the environmental water analysis could be consolidated by an automated discrete analyser.

Key learning objectives:

  • Learn wet chemical analysis methods and regulatory methods for water and waste water analysis
  • Find out how integrated discrete analyzer consolidates your water and waste water analysis needs and reduces hands-on sample time
  • Discover how you can reduce cost per analysis, improving profitability for your organization
  • Learn how to transfer your existing traditional wet chemical methods to integrated discrete analyzer

Who should attend?

  • Drinking water utilities Lab Managers, private and contract testing lab managers performing regulatory methods for drinking and waste water samples
  • QA/QC Lab Managers, Utility Lab Managers, Process Control Managers, from high water consuming Chemical, Power Plant Utility, Paper & Pulp, Chloralkali, Oil & Gas, and Petrochemical industries
  • Research scientists in agriculture and soil research institutes or universities performing environmental analytical chemistry
  • Laboratories Managers in wastewater treatment plants, or research facilities, who want to automate wet chemistry analysis
