The Thermo Scientific Chemicals range of Molecular Biology Grade solvents is ideal to use for concentrating nucleic acid samples by precipitation often in the presence of monovalent cations (e.g. sodium or ammonium). Our solutions are specifically tested for DNase, RNase and Protease to verify the absence of hydrolytic enzymes, which can degrade target biomolecules during nucleic acid/protein isolation and purification. These solutions are also great in combination with commercial “mini-prep” kits or traditional extraction methods with organic solvents.
