EGFR IHC kit description
EGFr IHC kit features the EGFr antibody clone 31G7, which is an industry standard for the detection of EGFr in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue samples.1-5 The highly specific clone 31G7 recognizes the extracellular domain of EGFr, and does not cross react with the related erbB receptor family. 31G7 has been widely used to determine the immunoreactive EGFr present in colon cancers and squamous cell carcinomas that arise from both squamous epithelium & metaplastic squamous epithelium. EGFr IHC kit uses proprietary SuperPicture™ polymer technology, which is highly sensitive, and yields intense staining without background. The EGFr kit is a complete IHC kit, including the prediluted EGFr antibody, pretreatment reagent, polymer detection system, Mouse IgG negative isotype control, 5 control slides, and a color evaluation guide.
