The multipurpose Gibco CTS Rotea Counterflow Centrifugation System offers exceptional flexibility in a cell therapy development and manufacturing system. This versatile system applies the proven counterflow centrifugation method to a broad range of cell processing applications, such as CAR-T therapy, stem cell therapy, and PBMC isolation.


The CTS Rotea system consists of a compact multipurpose instrument, a sterile single-use kit, and intuitive, visual customizable software. Together these components constitute a high throughput closed system that offers exceptional cell recovery, and flexible input and output volume capability. It’s ideal for multiple processes in your workflow, including cell separation, concentration, washing, buffer exchange, and cryopreservation. Highly concentrated outputs (with volumes as low as 5 mL) contain very little buffer or carryover, optimal for autologous cell therapy applications. The compact footprint, process flexibility, and closed-loop flow allow the system to seamlessly scale with your process, from research through commercial manufacturing.
