Our newly developed real-time PCR kits for SARS-CoV-2 pathogen detection research are now available to order. Both singleplex and multiplex kit workflows were developed for use on both the Applied Biosystems QuantStudio 5 and 7500 real-time PCR systems. The kit utilizes Applied Biosystems TaqMan Assay technology, enabling specific, sensitive, and accurate results.

* Although the singleplex kit has “2019-nCoV” in its product name, both kits detect the SARS-CoV-2 pathogen. The kit was named and catalogued prior to recent WHO naming updates.
Both kits feature assays specifically targeted to all >100 complete genomes currently available at GISAID, and do not target any of the 2,116 complete genomes of other coronaviruses currently available at NCBI.
