Karolina Setyowati, Ph.D. is the Senior Product Specialist for the qPCR and Digital PCR portfolio at Thermo Fisher Scientific, focusing on identifying and prioritizing customers’ requirements to support product development which ultimately addresses the customers’ needs.

Prior to her corporate role, Karol has spent over a decade on translational research and published over 15 scientific articles in high impact peer-reviewed journals for her work at the National University of Singapore where she received her Ph.D. in Biochemistry followed by her post-doctoral studies at the Genome Institute of Singapore. Later, Karol embarked on her corporate career in the life science industry at a few key biotech companies before joining Thermo Fisher Scientific. Prior to this current role, Karol was a business development manager of the licensing and commercial team, leveraging on Thermo Fisher Scientific technologies to build commercial partnerships with assay developers and biotechnologies.
