Thermo Fisher Scientific
This part of the webcast series focuses on applications requiring low Limits of Detection (LODs), which are typically run on Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) instruments. Single quadrupole (SQ) based instruments dominate for most routine and high throughput applications, whereas high resolution sector field (HR-SF) instruments have serious advantages when ultralow limits of detection are required. In recent years, triple quadrupole (TQ) ICP-MS instrumentation has been developed that can handle more spectral interferences that remain challenging for ICP-MS.
Attend this webcast to learn more about the available technology, and how it can address specific problems in trace elemental analysis.
Dr. Daniel Kutscher, ICP-MS Product Specialist, Thermo Fisher Scientific
After graduation in Chemistry in 2007, Daniel obtained his PhD from the University of Oviedo in 2011. In the same year he joined Thermo Fisher Scientific in his role as Application Specialist for ICP-MS.
Dr. Dhinesh Asogan, ICP-MS Product Specialist, Thermo Fisher Scientific
After obtaining an Engineering Doctorate in Laser Ablation ICP-MS, Dhinesh was employed as the Laser Ablation Product Manager at Teledyne CETAC Technologies until 2016. He then moved to Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Product Specialist for ICP-MS, supporting challenging advanced applications.
