Jay Roberts is a product manager in the FTIR spectroscopy division with Thermo Fisher Scientific, based in Madison, Wisconsin. His area of expertise is gas-phase spectroscopy, where he helps to develop dedicated analyzers for a wide variety of applications, such as combustion emissions and contaminant analysis in ultra-pure specialty gases. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Kalamazoo College (Michigan), with a work history of 20+ years focus in analytical chemistry and chemometrics.
