Temperature sensitive transitions like melting and crystallization, are usually indicated with changes in molecular conformation while optical measurements provide direct observation of structural characteristics. Performing these measurements on sequentially, on different instruments poses challenges due to variations in samples and environment changes like temperature.
In this application note, we demonstrate how correlative spectroscopy using Rheology and Raman can improve tracking polymer crystallization with a high-density polyethylene.
