Measure Kinase Activity in Real Time

  • Easy protocol - just mix, then read fluorescence
  • Kinetic format - suitable for mechanistic studies
  • Study substrate inhibitors
  • Fast—get results in under an hour

Omnia® Kinase Assays utilize a fluorescence peptide substrate-based technology for the rapid, homogenous and sensitive detection of enzymatic activity. Results are measured under optimal kinetics, physiological (mM) ATP, and in real time without use of radioactive tracers or specialized equipment. Increases in kinase activity result in a corresponding increase in fluorescence. The kinetic format of the assay also corrects for false positives (compound auto fluorescence) and false negatives (quenching), minimizing interference. The assay can be used to select for both ATP-competitive and ATP non-competitive (allosteric) inhibitors.
