Thermo Scientific microscope accessories enable you to obtain excellent quality spectra. Our fixed compensation condensers and objectives improve transmission/reflectance measurements, and variable compensation condensers and objectives correct for spherical aberrations caused by infrared windows above or below the sample.

Thermo Scientific Attenuated Total Reflection (ATR) accessories are ideal for analyzing homogeneous solid samples, surface layers of a multi-layered solids, or coatings on a solid. Even hard, irregularly shaped solids can be analyzed using a hard ATR crystal material such as diamond. The Smart Diffuse Reflectance accessory enables the analysis of a wide variety of samples with minimum sample preparation.
Attenuated Total Reflection (ATR) is a preferred method for liquid analysis because it simply requires a drop of liquid to be placed on a crystal. Our ATR accessories optimize the material identification and verification capabilities of Thermo Scientific FTIR spectrometers for a variety of liquid samples, producing high-quality spectral data in seconds.
