Select from a variety of Thermo Scientific Barnstead Water Systems
Type 1 water purification systems produce high-quality Type 1 ultrapure water with advanced ato conventional functionalities. Select Type 1 or a dual Type 1/Type 2 for broadened laboratory versatility and convenience.
Type 2 water purification systems, including distillation, offer a wide selection of purification methods, capabilities and options with low-maintenance operation.
Type 3 water purification systems use reverse osmosis to deliver rugged performance with low maintenance and dependability.
Enhance your water system with a variety of water system accessories and consumables, including pumps, filters and cartridges, storage accessories, and replacement parts.
Use the system that employs multiple chemistries and technologies synergistically to minimize impurities in feed water sources.
Our line of water purification technologies includes solutions for critical and everyday application needs—from electrodeionization to reverse osmosis to distillation. We support new construction or remodeling project in all stages of the process.
To protect your investment and to consistently produce the best water quality, it's important to maintain your water purification system by replacing consumables such as cartridges, filters, UV lights, etc. on a regular basis.
ASTM Standards for Reagent Water
Reagent water has quantitative specifications that describe the level of purity for the water. These specifications have been described by ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) D1193, ISO (International Organization for Standardization) 3696.
The most commonly used standards, ASTM D1193-6, are summarized in the tables below
