Complete western blot analysis software for users of all experience levels
iBright Analysis Software expands upon the on-board analysis features of the iBright Imaging Systems, with in-depth image adjustment and data analysis capabilities. iBright Analysis Software was designed to complete the overall intuitive imaging experience.
Cloud connectivity helps increase productivity
iBright Analysis Software is built on the Thermo Fisher Cloud web-based platform, and is part of the Thermo Fisher Connect suite. Data can be exported directly from iBright Imaging Systems and securely stored in Thermo Fisher Cloud. As the iBright Analysis Software is web-based, you can access, review, analyze, and share your data wherever an internet connection is available. Furthermore, with Thermo Fisher Connect you can determine instrument status, firmware edition, and usage history, providing an extra degree of control over the monitoring of your investment.
Form and function
iBright Analysis Software features a simplified interface, yet performance and capabilities are not compromised. The power of the interface is condensed into three main workspace functions: gallery, adjust, and analyze. Whether making a simple adjustment or comparing subtle differences between important research samples, our software has you covered.
|Gallery||Explore and organize your images||View, store, sort, search, select, import, export, and create reports|
|Adjust||Fine-tune and refine your images for meetings and presentations||Rotate, straighten, flip, zoom, crop, invert, adjust contrast and gamma levels, apply false colors|
|Analyze||Gain a deeper understanding of the data||Auto-analysis (automatically detect lanes and bands), manual analysis (user-defined), quantitation (relative or absolute), and normalization using loading controls|
Fill the gallery with crisp, beautiful images
The image gallery can be sorted based on application, date, or file name, so your data are readily retrievable and your experiments stay organized. With 10 GB of Thermo Fisher Cloud storage (storage space is expandable), thousands of images can be collected into a portfolio of your projects. Image preview is adjustable, so you can scan through closely related data without opening each image individually (Figure 1).
Make it picture perfect
Tailor your images for meetings, presentations, posters, and conferences with ease (Figure 2).
1 – Pan
2 – Zoom in
3 – Zoom out
4 – Zoom to fit
5 – Zoom selected area
6 – Straighten (custom rotate)
7 – Crop
8 – Rotate by 90°
9 – Flip
10 – Invert
11 – Display channel in viewpoint
12 – Select channel for editing
Achieve faster results with auto-analysis
Image analysis, which can be complicated, is simplified to only a few clicks (Figure 3). Automatically analyze up to 4 mini blots or mini gels at a time from a single image for increased throughput. Powerful algorithms are designed to consistently and accurately select and identify lanes and band boundaries for molecular weight estimation, densitometry, or normalization (Figure 4). Real-time adjustments can be made to band detection sensitivity to fine-tune for low-expression proteins, and bands can be removed from analysis to eliminate background interference. Reports can be exported to PDF format, or the raw data can be exported to Excel software for further manipulation.
Bring it all together with a complete report
After analysis, view your images alongside your data report (Figure 5). Selection of data in the data table (blue highlight) highlights the corresponding band on the image (red highlight), so visual qualitative analysis is more fluid. Data can be filtered to view only desired parameters.
