Mini Gel Tank

With an intelligently engineered side-by-side design, the Invitrogen Mini Gel Tank provides a forward-facing well configuration for easier sample loading and the simultaneous visualization of both gels, while the white-colored tank stand provides contrast to improve the monitoring of pre-stained markers during electrophoresis.

The standard iWestern workflow bundle includes our Bolt Gel Welcome Pack, utilizing Bis-Tris gel chemistry designed for optimal western blotting performance, but you can also choose a gel welcome pack utilizing a chemistry of your choice with our custom bundle option.

iBlot 2 Dry Blotting System

The Invitrogen iBlot 2 Dry Blotting System is our ultimate western blot transfer device, delivering high performance and convenience. A unique, innovative dry blotting system, iBlot 2 utilizes pre-assembled transfer stacks, with transfer buffer incorporated into gel matrices, so there is no need to prepare messy transfer buffers, and there is minimal post-transfer cleanup required. The short distance between electrodes, along with high field strength and current, reduces transfer time to 7 minutes. Just insert your gel and go!

iBind Western Systems

Two devices, one simple technology for western blot processing. The Invitrogen iBind Western Systems are simple, non-powered devices that automate many of the tedious, routine western blot processing steps. The original iBind Western Device accommodates the processing of one mini blot at a time, while the iBind Flex Western Device accommodates the processing of up to one midi blot, two mini blots, or up to six vertically cut strips. The entire immunoblotting process is complete in less than 3 hours, uses up to 80% less primary antibody than traditional methods, and because processing is automated, blot-to-blot consistency can be improved.

Our standard iWestern workflow bundle comes with the iBind Western System, but if increased throughput is needed, choose our iBind Flex Western System.

iBright Imaging Systems

Complete with a powerful 9.1-megapixel camera, proprietary Smart Exposure acquisition technology, Thermo Fisher Cloud connectivity, and a suite of automated features, the Invitrogen iBright Imaging Systems enable customers to capture and analyze western blots and gels faster and easier than before.

An intelligent blend of art and power, we’ve designed the iBright Imaging Systems with a clean, simple interface that enables users to easily harness the full capabilities of the platform. Two models are available—the iBright CL1500 model, capable of imaging chemiluminescent western blots in addition to stained protein and nucleic acid gels, and the iBright FL1500 model, featuring the same imaging modes as the iBright CL1500, yet also offering 5-channel fluorescent blot imaging capability in both visible and near-IR channels.
