Dynabeads® Magnetic Beads can be used to isolate a number of different organelles and organelle-specific proteins. This magnetic separation technology enables the specific isolation of true fractions in small volumes, and can replace time-consuming and labor-intensive density gradient centrifugations.
As more and more organelle-specific markers are identified, the corresponding immunomagnetic isolation of subgroups of organelles can be performed. Examples of organelles or organelle fractions that have been isolated with Dynabeads® include exosomes, mitochondria, peroxisomes, kidney glomeruli, and endocytic and secretory compartments.
