siRNA for Cell Culture
|siRNA Type||Description||Design Now|
|Silencer Select siRNA||Silencer Select siRNAs are the next generation of Ambion siRNAs. These siRNAs incorporate the latest improvements in siRNA design, off-target effect prediction algorithms, and chemical modifications to yield siRNAs with excellent efficacy, potency, and specificity.||order|
|Stealth RNAi siRNA||Stealth RNAi siRNA improves upon these traditional duplexes by using proprietary chemical modifications to help ensure better RNAi results. Stealth RNAi siRNA uses next-generation RNAi chemistry that allows for higher specificity and increased stability in serum and cell culture compared to standard siRNA.||order|
|Unmodified Alexa Fluor dye–labeled siRNA||Traditional unmodified siRNA duplexes synthesized on demand with the highest quality BLOCK-iT siRNAs.||order|
|Unmodified/unlabeled siRNA||Traditional unmodified siRNA duplexes synthesized on demand with the highest quality Silencer siRNAs.||order|
RNA interference (RNAi) is the best way to effectively knock down gene expression to study protein function in a wide range of cell types. Traditional RNAi methods for gene knockdown in mammalian cells involved the use of synthetic RNA duplexes consisting of two unmodified 21-mer oligonucleotides annealed together to form short/small interfering RNAs (siRNAs). Stealth RNAi siRNA and Silencer Select siRNA improve upon these traditional duplexes by using proprietary chemical modifications to help ensure better RNAi results.
