With exceptional dynamic range and sensitivity to subtle expression level changes, next-generation sequencing offers a clear picture of novel transcription events. However, to attain the most detailed results, it is necessary to construct an RNA library representative of its sample. RNA library construction should therefore include a mechanism to preserve strand specificity; that is, the library should be constructed in a directional manner so that, upon analysis, sense and antisense transcripts are easily differentiated.

The following RNA library construction kits not only preserve strand specificity, but are also designed to provide a streamlined and flexible approach for analyzing the whole transcriptome, small RNA, or targeted gene expression.

RNA Library Kits

SOLiD® Total RNA-Seq Kit

  • Compatible with multiple types of RNA input, this versatile kit offers an efficient solution for strand-specific whole genome discovery or small noncoding RNA analysis on the SOLiD® System.

SOLiD® SAGE™ Kit

  • This cost-effective kit provides a complete, all-in-one solution for performing digital gene expression profiling using 3’ expression tags on the SOLiD® System.

Ambion® RNA-Seq Library Construction Kit

  • This efficient kit supplies a comprehensive solution for strand-specific whole genome discovery or small noncoding RNA analysis on the Illumina® GAII platform.
