Use the TaqMan® hPSC Scorecard Panel when you need a fast, standardized way to verify pluripotent stem cell (PSC) identity and detect early lineage tendencies before committing to downstream differentiation. The panel provides 94 pre-plated assays with integrated cloud-based analysis, making it a practical tool for labs that want consistent benchmarking across experiments, collaborators, or sites.

Quantitative analysis of trilineage differentiation potential of your PSCs

The Applied Biosystems TaqMan® hPSC Scorecard Panel assesses pluripotency and trilineage differentiation potential using real-time qPCR assays and intuitive data analysis software. The hPSC Scorecard assay was developed in collaboration with Alex Meissner, and follows from his landmark publication [1]. The accompanying analysis software gives researchers anywhere in the world the ability to compare the gene expression profiles of their cell lines to a common reference set.

What is hPSC Scorecard Panel Assay?

The TaqMan® hPSC Scorecard Panels is a quantitative assay used to confirm the pluripotency and trilineage differentiation potential for both human embryonic stem cells (hESCs) and induced pluripotent stem cell lines (iPSCs). The panel of genes was developed in collaboration with Alex Meissner and based on his publication [1].

Designed for fast standardized analysis, the panel includes

  • 94 predefined TaqMan® Gene Expression assays (including endogenous controls) dried-down in assay plate wells
  • Available in 96- and 384-well formats for different throughput needs
