How do I get access to the Supply Center?
The fastest way to request access is to use the Request Access button on the Supply Center display. You’ll receive an email within 24–48 hours from Customer Care once your account is configured to use the Supply Center.

Can I use my Supply Center username and password to order from lifetechnologies.com?
You only need one username and password for all your online and Supply Center ordering. Go to lifetechnologies.com and sign in using your Supply Center username and password to get access to online ordering. Your username and password can also be used to access the mobile version.

I forgot my username/password. What should I do?
Contact your Customer Service representative. Contact information is located under More. Or go to lifetechnologies.com and select Forgot Username/Password under “Sign In”.

Do I need an access badge to sign in?
An access badge will allow quicker access to the products inside the Supply Center, but you don’t need an access badge to sign in. If you do not have a badge, simply select the Access without a Badge option from the display. Enter your lifetechnologies.com username and password, if your account is already configured to use the Supply Center. If your account is not configured to use the Supply Center, select Request Access. You’ll receive an email from Customer Care within 24-48 hours once your account is configured to use the Supply Center.

How do I obtain an access badge?
Access badges are free of charge - and located inside the Supply Center, or can be obtained from your Supply Center account representative. To activate the badge, follow the instructions on the reverse side of the badge.
If you’d like to use your Premier unit without your badge, sign in with your username and password using the Access without a Badge option on the screen.

I lost my access badge. What should I do?
Contact your Supply Center account representative, who will provide you with a new badge. Associate your new badge number following the instructions. Your previous access badge will no longer be valid, and you can now use your new access badge to sign in at the Supply Center.

There are no access badges inside the Supply Center. What should I do?
Contact your Supply Center account representative. Contact details are located under Help.

How do I place an order?
Use your Life Technologies username and password (configured to use the Supply Center) or your access badge to authenticate. You’ll be prompted on the screen to validate/select Payment and Cost Center values. Once complete, select the Access button to unlock the door. Remove your products, close the door, and select Done. You’ll be billed for any products removed from the Supply Center. An email order confirmation will be sent to your email address with details of your order.

Can I check my Supply Center orders in my lifetechnologies.com order history?
Supply Center orders can be viewed under Your Account once you sign in at lifetechnologies.com using a desktop computer or mobile device.

What methods of payment are accepted at the Supply Center?
Supply Center purchases can be made using a valid purchase order or credit card. In certain instances, your institution will provide specific guidance concerning permitted payment method(s). This will influence the payment/cost center options visible during the checkout steps. For additional questions related to your institution’s payment requirements, please contact your Supply Center account representative.

How can I change/create default payment and cost center values?
Payment values: Purchase order values can only be updated by Supply Center Customer Service. Credit card numbers and cost center values can be updated/changed when you sign in at lifetechnologies.com and go to Payment Information within Your Account.

How do I ask to have products stocked in the Supply Center?
The Supply Center team or your account representative will make updates to inventory based upon customer requests. Use either the “More” or “What’s Inside” option, and select “Stock Requests”. Enter information related to your product request. An email message will be sent to your Supply Center account representative with your request.

Can I use my Supply Center username and password to order products not stocked in the Supply Center?
You only need one username and password for all Web-based ordering from the lifetechnologies.com catalog. Go to lifetechnologies.com and sign in using your username and password. You’ll see the button “Ship non-stocked products to your lab”. Select this, and you’ll be taken to the lifetechnologies.com online catalog, where you can search and order products for direct shipping to you.

Note: This option may not be available at all institutions.
