Grants:
The panel of judges will select from all qualified proposals up to three proposals that the panel determines best meet all the Criteria. The submitter of a chosen proposal will be declared as a winner (“Winner”) and Life Technologies will award the company or institution that employs such Winner (“Employer”) $15,000 USD in a form of a product credit. The Employer can only use such product credit towards its purchase from Life Technologies of any of the OpenArray consumables listed below that Winner can use in performing the experiments under the grant proposal. Such product credit must be fully used by December 15, 2012. Any remaining unused credit amount will be forfeited after that date. The product credit is non-transferable and not convertible to cash.

No more than three grants will be awarded but, for avoidance of doubt, Life Technologies may not award any grant if the panel of judges at its sole discretion determines that no proposal best meet all the Criteria. A Winner can only win once. An Employer can only be awarded the grant once.

All entries will be made anonymous before being submitted to judges.
