Pharmaceutical Analytics Brand Transition

Applied Biosystems Pharmaceutical Analytics products by Thermo Fisher Scientific─a new brand for the same quality tools

Customers always come first at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As the world leader in serving science, we continually evolve to address customer feedback and make it easier to do business with us. To that end, we are simplifying our brand strategy to provide greater clarity to our customers, which includes retiring the Life Technologies brand name and logo for Pharmaceutical Analytics products.

What is not changing

Rest assured that this brand change will not impact the form, fit, or function of our Thermo Scientific Pharmaceutical Analytics products or how you conduct business with us. This will not impact the ordering process or SKU assignment and there is no change to how you do business with us as your vendor.

What is being updated

During this transition, you will notice some updates to our brand and logos:

• Recently we began to update the logos to reflect the Thermo Scientific brand on our marketing material and labels on some Pharmaceutical Analytics products; however, there are no actual changes to the specific products.
• Starting in December 2017, our Pharmaceutical Analytics product packaging, labels, and supporting documentation will reflect the Applied Biosystems by Thermo Fisher Scientific brand.

Updated commercial documentation

Starting in December 2017, commercial documentation will begin to be updated to use the Thermo Scientific product brand. We will be updating the logo and website references on the following materials, including: 

• Product labels 
• Product packaging
• Product names on transactional documents, such as quotes and order confirmations 
• Invoices
• Protocols
• Certificates of Analysis
