In 2021, we consolidated the Acros Organics, Alfa Aesar, and Maybridge brands under one single brand—Thermo Scientific. In parallel, we launched 80,000 chemical products, now available for purchase at thermofisher.com/chemicals. On December 31, 2022, we will be retiring acros.com and alfa.com, at which point our products will no longer be available for purchase on these websites.

There will not be any changes to product composition, technical specifications, or product source. There will be some changes to product packaging—most caps will be changing to red and all labels will be updated to a single style with Thermo Scientific branding.
Overall, our original product codes will remain the same. With the launch of our Thermo Scientific chemicals on thermofisher.com, there may be small formatting differences from products previously purchased on alfa.com.
While there are no changes in the handling or shipping of our products, there may be some shipment carrier differences.
