          Product Specific Information

          Preparation: Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human Wnt-3a. Anti-Human Wnt-3a-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated.

          Sandwich ELISA: To detect hWNT-3a by sandwich ELISA (using 100 µL/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.25-1.0 µg/mL of this antibody is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Human WNT-3a (500-P251) as a capture antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4 ng/well of Recombinant hWNT-3a.

          Western Blot: To detect hWNT-3a by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2 µg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for Recombinant hWNT-3a is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

          500-P251BT-1MG will be provided as 2 x 500 µg

          Target Information

          Wnt3a, part of the WNT gene family, consists of structurally related genes that encode secreted signaling proteins. These proteins have been implicated in oncogenesis and in several developmental processes, including regulation of cell fate and patterning during embryogenesis. This gene is a member of the WNT gene family. Study of its expression in the teratocarcinoma cell line NT2 suggests that it may be implicated in the early process of neuronal differentiation of NT2 cells induced by retinoic acid. This gene is clustered with WNT3, another family member, in the chromosome 17q21 region.
