PA5-27396 targets Adenylate cyclase 2 in IHC (P) and WB applications and shows reactivity with Human samples.
The PA5-27396 immunogen is recombinant fragment corresponding to a region within amino acids 420 and 597 of Human Adenylate cyclase 2.
Store product as a concentrated solution. Centrifuge briefly prior to opening the vial. For short-term storage (1-2 weeks), product can be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store product at -20° C or below, avioiding multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
This gene encodes a member of the family of adenylate cyclases, which are membrane-associated enzymes that catalyze the formation of the secondary messenger cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP). This enzyme is insensitive to Ca(2+)/calmodulin, and is stimulated by the G protein beta and gamma subunit complex.
