ALAS2 Antibody (CF809959) in WB
HEK293T cells were transfected with the pCMV6-ENTRY control (Left lane) or pCMV6-ENTRY ALAS2 (RC219079, Right lane) cDNA for 48 hrs and lysed. Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (5 µg per lane) were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with anti-ALAS2. Positive lysates LY424966 (100 µg) and LC424966 (20 µg) can be purchased separately from OriGene.

Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, we recommend adding 100 µL distilled water to a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL. To use this carrier-free antibody for conjugation experiments, we strongly recommend performing another round of desalting. (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7KMWCO, 0.5 mL, Product # 89882)

ALAS2 specifies an erythroid-specific mitochondrially located enzyme. It catalyzes the first step in the heme biosynthetic pathway. Defects in this gene cause X-linked pyridoxine-responsive sideroblastic anemia.The product of this gene specifies an erythroid-specific mitochondrially located enzyme. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
