          ALDH1L1 Antibody (PA5-78622) in WB

Western blot was performed using Anti-ALDHL1 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-78622) and a 100, 52 kDa band corresponding to ALDHL1 was observed in the tissues tested except Mouse Spleen and Rat Spleen. Whole cell extracts (30 µg lysate) of Mouse Liver (Lane 1), Rat Liver (Lane 2), Mouse Kidney (Lane 3), Mouse Spleen (Lane 4) and Rat Spleen(Lane 5) were electrophoresed using NuPAGE™ 4-12% Bis-Tris Protein Gel (Product # NP0322BOX). Resolved proteins were then transferred onto a nitrocellulose membrane (Product # IB23001) by iBlot® 2 Dry ... View More {{ $ctrl.currentElement.advancedVerification.fullName }} validation info. Target Information

ALDH1L1 catalyzes the conversion of 10-formyltetrahydrofolate, NADP, and water to tetrahydrofolate, NADPH, and carbon dioxide. The encoded protein belongs to the aldehyde dehydrogenase family and is responsible for formate oxidation in vivo. Deficiencies in this gene can result in an accumulation of formate and subsequent methanol poisoning.
