Western Blot using ALOX12 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-77858). Whole cell extract (30 µg) was separated by 7.5% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with ALOX12 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-77858) diluted at 1:500. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody was used to detect the primary antibody.

Target Information
The ALOX12 gene encodes the enzyme arachidonate 12-lipoxygenase, a member of the lipoxygenase family that metabolizes arachidonic acid into bioactive lipid mediators. ALOX12 catalyzes the formation of 12-hydroperoxyeicosatetraenoic acid (12-HPETE), which is further reduced to 12-hydroxyeicosatetraenoic acid (12-HETE).
