AP4 Antibody (A302-761A) in WB
Detection of human AP4 by western blot and immunoprecipitation. Samples: Whole cell lysate from HeLa (5, 15 and 50 µg for WB; 1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) and HEK293T (T; 50 µg) cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-AP4 antibody (Product # A302-761A) used for WB at 0.04 µg/mL (A) and 0.4 µg/mL (B) and used for IP at 3 µg/mg lysate. AP4 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-AP4 antibody A302-760A, which recognizes an upstream epitope. Detection: Chemiluminescence with exposure times of 30 seconds (A) and 3 seconds (B).

Target Information
Transcription factors of the basic helix-loop-helix-zipper(bHLH-ZIP) family contain a basic domain, which is used for DNA binding, and HLH and ZIP domains, which are used for oligomerization. Transcription factor AP4 activates both viral and cellular genes by binding to the symmetrical DNA sequence CAGCTG.
