APOBEC3A Antibody (PA5-142329) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry-Immunofluorescence analysis of APOBEC3A in A549 cells using APOBEC3A Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-142329). Cells were fixed with paraformaldehyde, permeabilized with 0.15% Triton, and incubated with the primary antibody for 1hr (10 µg/mL) followed by Alexa Fluor 488 secondary antibody (2 µg/mL), showing nuclear and some cytoplasmic staining. The nuclear stain is DAPI (blue). Negative control: Unimmunized goat IgG (10 µg/mL) followed by Alexa Fluor 488 secondary antibody (2 µg/mL).

Target Information
PHO1 a member of the cytidine deaminase gene family. The PHO1 gene is one of seven related genes or pseudogenes found in a cluster, thought to result from gene duplication, on chromosome 22. Members of the cluster encode proteins that are structurally and functionally related to the C to U RNA-editing cytidine deaminase APOBEC1. It is thought that the proteins may be RNA editing enzymes and have roles in growth or cell cycle control. This gene encodes a protein that lacks the zinc binding activity and may be an expressed pseudogene.
