ASPL Antibody (A302-352A) in IP
Detection of human ASPL by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-ASPL antibody (Product # A302-352A) used for IP at 3 µg/mg lysate. ASPL was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-ASPL antibody A302-351A, which recognizes an upstream epitope. For blotting immunoprecipitated ASPL, A302-352A was used at 1 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 10 seconds.

Target Information
This gene is a candidate gene for alveolar soft part sarcoma (ASPS). It has been found that this gene is fused with transcription factor TFE3 gene in ASPS and also in renal cell carcinomas. Several alternatively spliced transcript variants of this gene have been described, but their full length nature has not been determined.
