ASXL1 Antibody in Immunocytochemistry (ICC/IF) — Immunofluorescent analysis of ASXL1 in HeLa cells using confocal microscopy. Samples were incubated with ASXL1 H1 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-71475) followed by Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated goat anti-rabbit lgG (green) as a secondary antibody. Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (blue).

ASXL1 Antibody in Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) (IHC (P)) — Immunohistochemical analysis of ASXL1 in paraffin-embedded human testis tissue. Samples were incubated with ASXL1 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-71475) followed by a peroxidase-conjugate secondary antibody and DAB staining.

ASXL1 Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — Western blot analysis of ASXL1 in mouse liver tissue using 35 µg of protein per lane. Samples were incubated with ASXL1 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-71475).

ASXL1 Antibody in Flow Cytometry (Flow) — Flow cytometry analysis of ASXL1 in HeLa cells (right histogram) compared to a negative control cell (left histogram). Samples were incubated with ASXL1 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-71475) followed by a FITC conjugated goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody.

Target Information

Probable Polycomb group (PcG) protein involved in transcriptional regulation mediated by ligand-bound nuclear hormone receptors, such as retinoic acid receptors (RARs) and peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma (PPARG). Acts as coactivator of RARA and RXRA through association with NCOA1. Acts as corepressor through recruitment of KDM1A and CBX5 to target genes in a cell-type specific manner; the function seems to involve differential recruitment of methylated histone H3 to respective promoters. Acts as corepressor for PPARG and suppresses its adipocyte differentiation-inducing activity. Non-catalytic component of the PR-DUB complex, a complex that specifically mediates deubiquitination of histone H2A monoubiquitinated at 'Lys-119' (H2AK119ub1).
