PA5-30572 targets ATE1 in IHC (P) and WB applications and shows reactivity with Human samples.
The PA5-30572 immunogen is recombinant fragment corresponding to a region within amino acids 308 and 518 of Human ATE1.
This gene encodes an arginyltransferase, an enzyme that is involved in posttranslational conjugation of arginine to N-terminal aspartate or glutamate residues. Conjugation of arginine to the N-terminal aspartate or glutamate targets proteins for ubiquitin-dependent degradation. Alternative splicing results in two transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms.
