HEK 293 cells stably transfected with Vasopressin Receptor 1A (AVPR1A) were grown on poly-L-lysine-coated coverslips overnight. Target Information
Vasopressin receptor 1a (AVPR1A) is a receptor for arginine vasopressin. The activity of this receptor is mediated by G-proteins which activate a phosphatidyl-inositol-calcium second messenger system. AVPR1A has been involved in social behaviors, including affiliation and attachment.
