In Western blots, approximately 45% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse Adiponectin is observed and 35% cross-reactivity with recombinant human Adiponectin is observed.
Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Adiponectin is a hormone exclusively produced in adipose tissue and secreted into plasma. It is involved in a number of metabolic processes, such as glucose regulation, and the metabolism of fat for energy production. Adiponectin is involved in the control of fat metabolism and insulin sensitivity.
