PA5-19635 targets Artemis in immunofluorescence and Western blot applications and shows reactivity with Human samples.
The PA5-19635 immunogen is synthetic peptide conjugated to KLH derived from within residues 550 - 650 of Human Artemis.
PA5-19635 detects Artemis which has a predicted molecular weight of approximately 60 kDa.
This gene encodes a nuclear protein that is involved in VJ recombination and DNA repair. The protein has single-strand-specific 5'-3' exonuclease activity; it also exhibits endonuclease activity on 5' and 3' overhangs and hairpins when complexed with protein kinase, DNA-activated, catalytic polypeptide. Mutations in this gene cause Athabascan-type severe combined immunodeficiency .
