This antibody is predicted to react with bovine, canine, mouse, porcine and rat based on sequence homology.
Human B-cell Linker Protein (BLNK) exists in two alternatively spliced forms of 68 and 70 kD. It is believed to be the central link between B cell antigen receptor and the downstream effector proteins PLC, Grb2, Vav and Nck. Following activation of B cell antigen receptor BLNK gets phosphorylated by Syk kinase. This antibody is useful in the studying signal transduction events during B cell activation.
