BMAL1 Antibody (PA1-46118) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of BMAL1 in HeLa cells. Samples were incubated with BMAL1 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA1-46118) using a dilution of 1:200 followed by Dylight 488 (green). Alpha tubulin and nuclei were counterstained against DyLight 568 (Red) and DAPI (Blue), respectively.

Prior to immunostaining paraffin tissues, antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0) is recommended.
Suggested positive control: antigen standard for ARNTL (transient overexpression lysate), reticulocyte lysate.
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is a basic helix-loop-helix protein that forms a heterodimer with CLOCK. This complex binds an E-box upstream of the PER1 gene, activating this gene and possibly other circadian rhythym-associated genes. Three transcript variants encoding two different isoforms have been found for this gene.
