PA1-20949 has been successfully used in Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) procedures. Perform enzymatic antigen retrieval before commencing with the IHC staining protocol, by boiling the tissue sections in 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10 minutes followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes. Suggested positive controls for this product are HeLa cells and placenta.
The PA1-20949 immunogen corresponds to an epitope located within aa 1-50 of O43521 (Uniprot).
Bim belongs to the Bcl2 family of proteins containing a Bcl2 homology domain 3 (BH3). It is proapoptotic and exerts its effects by interacting with prosurvival members of the Bcl2 family like Bcl2, BclxL and Bclw.
